Actually, I was just kidding around. My take on the car is that there aren't many cars out there that are truly "investments", or, for that matter, are worth anywhere near what you pay for them. So, the best thing you do is get the best price for what pleases you. I look at it like this. If it only has 63K miles, and is mechanically sound, then 12K may not be a bad price. Heck, you can drive it another 200,000 miles, its safe, etc., etc. The only thing I would wonder about is whether the Classic designation warrants the premium price since you most likely wouldn't be able to resell it for that amount. I'd probably go for a standard wagon and pay a lot less money. But, if you have the money, then go for it. For a while, I was in to Porsche 911 Turbos from the 1980s. I kept paying premium prices for them and then, when I had tired of them, would try to resell but always got significantly less than I paid for them. However, I'm still alive and I had a lot of fun. Do what makes you happy.
