This is a lovely and rare Classic. However, all 240s are now "old," and even fine examples have flaws. here are my problems with this car:
1. No classic dash badge. Other posters have mentioned this, but where the heck is it if the seller wants $13K? I wonder how much mine is worth if I sold it on Ebay!
2. Factory roof racks. Holes are bad...
3. Tow hitch. Not a good sign re: engine, motor mount, tranny wear. What was this thing towing?
4. Certainly not a buyer's car. The seller, as is often the case on Ebay, sets up conditions so that 240 fans will pay more than they should. At the same time, Classics have been know to fetch quite a bit of money. Too bad the original owner didn't sell it her/himself instead of handing it over to this dealer.
Otherwise, this is a beauty, and I'm sure any of us would love it for half the price. 5 speed sure is seductive on any late model 240.
