The electrical part in the induction hose is the PCT sensor and controls the fifth injector. It has nothing to do with turbo overboost.

The symptoms you describe are typical of a bad induction hose. Remove the induction hoses, clean them thoroughly, and inspect them inside and out. You will probably find a bad one, and it is likely to be, (1) the intercooler outlet hose, or, (2) the elbow at the throttle body.
