Resolution of the differential issues, hopefully 120-130 1966

Once again, thank you for the excellent counsel. I already tried the flat piece of steel to assess whether the cones were in straight or not. Just worked my way around the circumference measuring across the middle. If one side of the bar was further from the axle tube flange I'd adjust it until all distances were equal. That took forever but will hopefully prevent the situation that caused the whole mess, the crooked cone.

By the way, the distance between your well drawn red lines is supposed to be 0.019"? I thought the axial play was supposed to be 0.019" and the distance between the red lines was supposed to be whatever was needed to get the desired axial play.
