Std bore size specs to a maximum of 3.5008, which many machinists would
call '0.001" over' and standard rings are recommended for up to 0.005"
oversize so I would NOT sweat the bore size at all.

I agree on the neoprene (or whatever) seals. If you have trouble finding
either a timing cover or a rear seal housing to take the newer seals,
e-mail me.
