There are several places you can pick up a rebuilt or remanufactured B230FT. I looked around about a year ago and found at least 5 that sold them. If you have a large Auto parts chain such as Advance or Auto Zone they can hook you up with remanufactured engine. When I priced them about two years ago they were running in the $2,000 to $2,300 USD range. I got my new motor at my dealer for $2,550 with my discount. They retail for $2,995 USD and come with a 12 month unlimited mileage Volvo warranty. Most of the others I priced came with 24 to 36 month or 24K to 36K mile warranty. Do a Google.com search under rebuild or remanufactured Volvo engines it should get you a few hits that can help you. Also you may have someone around you that may be willing to rebuild yours for a few hundred less. From what I have heard $1,500 to $1,800 seems about average for getting it done right from a local shop. You may want to hit the phone book and call around for local distributors of engines.
