Fried ECU?? 200 1983

What is sensitive is the plug connection on the ignition computer just inside of the washer fluid tank - assuming this non turbo 83. There was a TSB in 84 I believe, adding sleeves to (some of) its pins to tighten the electrical contact force. Also in the hall-effect connector at the distributor-- you've a round one, right?

I think there are some procedures in the FAQ, if not, at least in Haynes and Bentley for measuring the voltage source and output of the hall device. Post back if you can't find the info.

Anyhow, like I think I read here recently, it is easy to bump that harness while doing the T=belt job.
