Dan, I'll venture a guess that Max and I are both presbyopic. I know I can't see any of the gauge markings at night without reading glasses.

I tried to do what Max actually accomplished with the blue LED, gave up and stuck with the old incandescent. I think you might have seen my post on it with this night view of the clock though it does not afford a proper comparison with the other gauges.
