OK, so it only SOMETIMES doesn't run on that third cylinder... 140-160

When I started it up to got to my brother's soccer game, it wasn't missing anymore, and didn't sound like a Subaru's boxer four engine. It does seem to run fine after about 2500 rpms, even if it's all lopey and boxer4 sounding at lower rpms. But it isn't doing it anymore, only when i first started it up this morning and for the next 20 minutes... But after shutting it off the first time and since then, it's run on all four, although i can't really say it's running perfectly on all four. What causes the intermittent working/no working spark?
