Engine start failure 700 1987

Assuming the fuel pumps are running, which seems the case, you may have an ignition fault after the ECU. Either the power stage or coil but since you've changed the coil, suspect the power stage which drives the coil. Watch the tach whilst cranking - if the needle is dead I'd definitely go for the power stage. The hall sensor typically fails also, but this would stop the fuel pumps. Regards.
