Engine start failure 700 1987

No repairs in the past year. Engine failed suddenly while in route home. It does try to start. It cranks fast. Compression is good on all cylinders. Hot spark on all plugs. Timing is correct. Main fuel pump running when cranking. Ignition wires are in the correct order. No funny noises.
