Any problems with bypassing a fuel relay? 200 1977

Thanks, but I can probably find a spare one while I'm home. Getting parts here at college is a bitch, the local parts shop doesn't even having a listing for a B21 exhaust flange gasket. Once I'm in Sydney it'll get a whole lot easier.

I know I have two relays, and I managed to break both of them. The other one just blew fuses till I replaced it, and I've now gone through two of the silver ones. I've found that anything that "rarely fails", probably will on my car. Volvo red blocks, for instance, rarely blow up, and I managed that as well. I'm on my 4th starter motor, 3rd alternator, you get the picture.

You're right though, it is a fire risk, and also caused the motor to diesel for a while when I turned the ignition off today.

Still, it's good to be on the road again, I've got 200 miles to drive tonight, and more on sunday.
