If the abovementioned have not worked for you, look at the other end of the spectrum and find the grounding points. If they are corroded, they will created all kinds of weird problems. I once had an old Buick that would perform well below 55km/hr but lost its turn signals and radio among other things when it got up over 55. I also had a 122S once that grounded through the cable to the speedometer because the proper ground was too corroded. Made for all kinds of interesting electrical difficulties!
