One thing you should do at this point is check fuel system pressure. If it's high, you have a bad or stuck fuel pressure regulator. May cost as much for a test as a new FPR. They run $30-40 or so at FCP Groton and other suppliers. Dealer gets twice as much.
High pressure = FPR not relieving = working the pump too hard. If this car has two pumps, possibly the other pump is bad- if it's a single pump design as I think all Regina cars are, then I'd suspect the regulator.
And deal with a professional parts company! Autozone/Pep Boys/Kragen/Advance are the Wal-Marts of the business. Buy Bosch parts and replace them once!
