Could not hear fuel pump priming, is it unmistakably loud enough to hear?. That, probably is just the problem. Relay switch clicks, so that's out. Jiggled fuel pump fuse and it almost turned. It just makes me wonder about dampness, even though, this car was originally a desert car, it has 267K, and presumably has really been "seasoned" to dry weather. L.A. just never gets this kind of rain and tank sat in low 1/4 full before rain started. Bad gas?, maybe? Injectors were replaced 2 years ago, when a couple had cracked caps (the little green nipples) on tips. Put in fuel system dryer and half a bottle of Injector Cleaner in to a 3.4 tank. Starter has full crank, so battery seems goods enough, but when I turn key without starting, shouldn't meter go up further than low red? Is a fuel pump easy enough for a novice mechanic to swap out? Also, plugs are dry, checked that first. Thanks for sticking with me here.
