If it makes you feel any better, me too.
Broke off a square extractor flush in the frontmost bolt for the intake/exhaust manifold on the B18 this summer. Still there. I tried drilling out around it but was afraid of trashing the threads or punching through to the water jacket or something even worse. Once I've already made things worse than they were, I tend to expect the absolute worst if I continue.
Good luck with removing yours. I broke mine months ago and I'm still a little upset about it.
