I believe this to be correct:
The throttle stop should be set so that the throttle plate itself will maintain the specified idle RPM, say 800 w/o any help from the idle motor. Once that is set ,the idle motor will increase/maintain the idle RPM for A/C, Autotransm, etc. as demanded by the PCM.
To set the throttle stop while idling w/o influence from the idle motor disconnect it from the hose and plug the hose.
If any substantial change was made to the throttle stop you may have to reset the TPS to click just as the throttle starts to move.
I believe this will work good but welcome comments from the experts.
