Update on M41 project 1800

That was really good concise advice. It only took me 60 minutes of studying the shop manual to figure out all the ramifications of what you said. Makes sense to me, and seems to ring true to the way the OD is not performing.
This has been a worthy project to assess the spare M41, but I am not looking forward to replacing the daily driver M41 out on the street. I will be sure to disengage the OD one last time with the clutch depressed before pulling the spare out. It will be interesting to rebuild the OD unit.
This was exactly the advice I needed, thanks whoever you are "Two Points"
