=D who knows?! 140-160

Well, the D cam and bigger inlet valves, and the combination of being an F head, will make a noticeable difference from the old b head and c cam that are in there now, and I'll have the head/block shaved to increase compression to around 10:1 or so. The bottom end will be built up and balanced and blueprinted to be able to run the tight squish and to be prepared for the JP head that I will EVENTUALLY get... No funds for that right now at all. Maybe in a couple of years at the earliest.

So for now, when this b20b goes out, my 74 block will be built with whatever oversize pistons it needs(not planning on going to a 2130 or larger because I want to keep it simple and light and the difference won't be too big), M rods and blah blah blanced blueprinted... That and the combination of the stock but better head and cam will make a DECENT difference compared to the worn out B engine that's in there now. The top end pull might actually exist to 6krpms, right now it's stops around 5200 according to my dyno sheet. And then when money allows, the custom header, custom cam, and custom head will come from John. That'll be when the numbers get real big and start to scare ya... Hopefully anyway!

I can't wait to get back to the dyno to see what it's putting down now though. I'm also going to experiment with tighter intake valve lash because my car has a little bit of pinging that I want to take care of some more so I can run the more optimal timing setting of 18-20 degrees advance on this motor. And then once I get on the dyno again, I can play around with that some more to see where it really likes it, and then also play with the mixture on the carbs a bit further as well... And now I'm noticing that I might have to play with the level of the floats because my car won't like to startup very easily when it's warm usually, and when it finally does, it drops out a puff of smoke...

Yup yup!
