Tools: Sockets 6 point or 12?

I found myself asking this question in Lowe's one day. I think that the six point socket will be LESS likely to strip a nut...because it is a firmer grip. A 12 point socket may be easier to use in hard-to-get-to places because you don't have to turn the socket as far in order to slide it onto a bolt.

I dunno. I think the 6 point is better.
