You can test the trigger contacts in the distributor by turning the car on (don't start it) and remove the tray witht he contacts from the distributor. You don't have to remove the distributor. As long as it (the trigger contact tray) is plugged in, if you work the 2 little points with your fingers the fuel pump should run. If that checks out OK replace the contacts and turn your attention to the injectors. If not you need to trace those wires to be sure they aren't broken.
