Good news is that it was lean from too little gas, so the detonation didn't have a huge amount of kick to it. Not like a turbo car that goes lean with lots of gas in there, just too much air - much bigger kick. That's why those guys on TB are bending rods and busting pistons - I don't think a NA motor can do as much damage.
