Intermittent Electrical Problem: No-Charge 200

Also check the ground connection from the alternator to the block and the brushes in the alternator -- a lot easier and cheaper to replace than replacing the whole alternator, which is what a lot of people seem to wind up doing. If you have the Bentley manual, it should show you how to remove the voltage regulator that holds the brushes.
