Dear Jeff,
Good a.m. and may this find you well. Should I conclude, that it is the shape of the connector - not the sensor's diameter / threading / wires - that varies between Bosch Oxygen sensors?
Thus, if we took 25 different Bosch Oxygen Sensors, and cut-off the connectors, is it the case, that no one could tell which sensor "head " fit any given vehicle?
If this is correct, will any Bosch Oxygen sensor fit any Volvo? Or, do differences in diameters and/or threadings, etc., limit the alternatives to those, which will fit Ford cars? Is/Are there specific year(s) of Ford cars, that one should reference, or do Ford cars made since, say, 1990, all take the same Bosch sensor?
Thanks for sharing your insights. I'm much obliged.
Yours faithfully,
spook
