Lesson - Don't steam clean the engine

Maybe im just lucky. Ive cleaned my engine at the car wash on several occasions. Ive never had a problem. The car always starts up and drives away. Of course I do make an effort to avoid the dist, and the mass.
Also, I never get really involved. Just get most of the ugliest greese off and let it go.

Whatever problem you have you should be able to troubleshoot it and set things back to right. Good luck.
You need fuel, fire ,and air to get it going. Of course all in the proper portions. Parts can be dried out, replaced. Wires can be replaced, and rerouted.
