On my 122 wagon there was enough room to mount some nice 6-1/2 inch round speakers under the dash with plumbers tape. you could only see them if your head was under the dash and they sounded great. Made it easier for would be thieves to walk past it as well.
just double check your choke pull linkage before you mount the drivers side speaker.
