You're in luck as I happen to have my front end apart:

The photo below is taken from the driver's side. You can see from this picture that the front end of my car is on jacks (tires have been removed) and the brake line is hanging down. The front sway bar attaches to the lower control arm through the round hole on the A-arm. A bunch of polyurethane rubber pieces and washers are missing, but you get an idea of how the front sway bars go onto the control arm:
