Amp Light and Loss of Electrical Functions... 120-130 1967

Hello All:

Several things impress me: one is that you guys all pointed me in the exact right direction. I got home last night and Wendy reported that the problem was happening again. I went out to "Virginia" and took advantage of a nice static situation to do some testing. It seems that one of the connections into the fuse box (Fuse 1) needed a bit of jiggling. I am not quite satisfied so I will read the recommended articles and make the connections true.

The second thing that impresses me is that the folks at Volvo had the insight to design the 'Amp' light to perform a function such as this one. Obviously, the turn signals and particularly the brake light are key things to have working. If there is a problem, I sure as hell want to know about it right away.

These beautiful cars never cease to amaze me - nor the people who are attracted to them. Thanks again.

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo
