Radiator Temp Sensor - Installation 700 1989

If it goes in tough, it won't blow out - that's why Volvo specify not to re-use an old seal. I wouldn't recommend using any lubricant - like Vaseline. I put mine in dry, rad in the car, and used a really big pair of channel lock pliers which gripped the rad tank in one jaw, the plastic plug (replaces the sensor on my 940) in the other, and squeezed it home. No leaks.
