Headlites hooked thru Ignition Switch 444-544

Got to thinking the other day, driving my late model Saab (yeah I know), that the headlites hooked thru the ignition switch was kind of a nice convenience. I don't have to remember to turn the headlites off and it gives me daytime running lights, which I happen to think is a useful feature.

So Im wondering if there is any reason not to hook up my P210 that way.

Any thoughts?
