Bummer I missed "wait don't tell me". So that was the problem with our 1960's Ford Falcon - no wing window. As child of the 60's with a father who had a pension for hocking a loogie (a 1970-80's term). Us kids, 4 of them, no seat belts mind you, would dread having to take their turn behind dad who was driving. Invariably somewhere along the ride phlem would make its way out. Sure the main form would leave the window but there was always the bittle bits that would hit whoever was directly behind dad. Mom never liked him doing it and he was finally forced to stop when one day the main mass went out his window and right back into the rear window plastering my eldest sister. As a boy of 7 or 8 I thought it was funny, Mom was yelling and the sister was crying. So much for dad ever spitting out the window of a moving vehicle. If only he owned a Volvo with side wings. Thanks for the trip down memory lane
