Convert the mm specs. to inches. Haynes says .0004"-.0012" with a wear limit of .004" Sorry I've used inches all my life and can't visualize in metric very well.

I think .004"-.005" might result in some slap but anything under that should be OK if the cylinder walls look good; no excessive taper, out of roundness,ridge from the top ring,etc.

You might try the old fashioned feeler gauge method between the piston (at rt. angles to the wrist pin) and cylinder bore. Use the go/no-go method.

Use the Deves rings they will compensate for minor defects. I have accumulated 265,000 miles on Deves with less than 1/2 qt. oil consumption in 3000 mi.
