142 Radiator 140-160

I looked at converting my ITB 142E to FP, but I couldn't make it work. At Hallett, I would need to gain 8 seconds a lap from what amounts to 1" wider wheels, a different camshaft, and 340 lbs less weight. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that just about the size of it, ITB vs FP? And can you actually make 2300 pounds w/driver, without spending some really serious dollars?
