Interesting... apparently, I have underestimated the potential of the car in FP; I'll be watching your progress with interest. BTW, I was perusing your results on MyLaps.com and have a question... what is the significance of the "m" in "mITB"?

I'm in Oklahoma and AFAIK, I have the only Volvo race car in the area. The SCCA ITB fields at Hallett are generally a half dozen cars or less, but there are usually some pretty quick cars. (Chris Albin's VW comes to mind.) I have yet to join SCCA, I may do that next year. I currently run my ITB car in COMMA (Hallett only) races in class PA, which is essentially ITA/ITB/ITC/IT7 combined. Rather small fields I'm afraid, especially this year... previously, the Spec Miata cars were running in PA, they now have their own COMMA class.

You've probably raced against my car, which was previously owned by David Kerr. I bought the car from him this spring. I've had some problems with it, but it is a fairly quick old brick... with used Hoosier S04's, I've been under Albin's ITB lap record at Hallett, so I know it's competitive.
