How about stricter driver licensing requirements, other than hand one out to anyone that walks through the door and can see an eye chart, more stringent rules governing beginning/young and older drivers, and more funding for the overworked and underpaid law enforcement folks to be able to put more officers on the street to actually enforce the existing traffic laws? Beats the heck out of another computer controlled gizmo that will break, leave you stranded and then have to pay big bucks to fix.
