Hmm, sounds like BMW's IDrive should about solve the problem then. In my opinion, though, as a continent we absolutely need more stringent licensing requirements. "A driver's license is a privilege," we hear time after time - well how about raising the bar a bit to lend some weight to that statement? And, "Am I too drunk to drive? ...Nope, the car still starts!" is not what I want to contend with on the roads.
