Seems like all are quiet John - at least with regard to responding the the thread. I've experimented with different mufflers on mine -- well, til my wife told me to stop it. (Bassani, Magnaflow, Spin Tech, Flow Master) Seems there's no middle ground between too loud (almost all aftermarket stuff) and too quiet (stock).

I've found that most folks that want something a bit quieter are happy with the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. Get the biggest case that will fit if you want it quieter -- and they flow quite well too.

I ended up with 2.5" duals all the way back and used a transverse oem Boss 302/429 replica muffler with dual inlets and dual outlets. Works great on a 242 (transverse single muffler in the rear) and sounds good to my ear.
