Update:

Installed a complete 3" stainless catback today with a buddy. He did almost all the work...lol. We used a 3" Dynomax type muffler, I forgot the brand, but it looked like it would flow well (not the best), but was only $49. My buddy Pete did a great job on cutting/welding a combination of off the shelf 3" pipe, and it sounds just right. Relatively quiet at idle, but much louder as you get on it.

I went with the 3" because I am definately going to go forced induction in the spring/summer, so thought I might as well get a jump on it now. If I lose any low end torque it will only be for the winter, and quite frankly I will not be racing around with studded snows anyway.

I took a bunch of before and after pics if anyone is interested.
