AC question

The Wide Open Throttle cutoff looks like a relay (because it is one). It is a black plastic square, with a metal bracket clipped to it. The Ford logo is on the top.
Mine has the part number
E5DB
11433
on the side. The socket for the WOT cutoff is has openings for 4 wires, but one is empty, and one opening has 2 wires going to it.

First, check the A/C fuse(s). Then, with a 12V test light, check for power at both sides of the low-pressure cutoff switch on the receiver/dryer. From there is power should go to the WOT cutoff switch, and from there, it depends on how your car is wired. Mine goes from there to the electric fan relay and from there to the compressor, but your may be different.

It may be necessary to have the engine running to properly test all of these points.
