Just a quick note to thank George for all of the good work done on the 89 5.0/740 conversion that I purchased. I am continuing the work with a light restoration to get the body cleaned up and updating the interior.

I had wanted to build my own car but with a young child and two infants, realized that I would never have the time and money to get it done. (Oh but I am building one in my head!)

I looked at several wagons offered but chose this one for the 5 speed manual gearbox, among other things :-)

I have been racking up the miles on the car and have had zero problems. For anyone worried that it cannot never been done right, this car is right. Very stock in appearence and driveability. Snow driving is a bit of a problem with the open differential and added power but I will fix that eventually.

I could not imagine driving a stock motored volvo wagon again after driving this one.
