iv have seen a LS1 to 740 swap i think it was a 760..i belive i have a link to it... a custom crossmember had to be fabbed.. the oilpan on the LS1 is deep as hell and that created a big issue i think thats y the crossmember had to be fabbed.... o yea the story is on the LS1 245 they did, but here is a site of volvo engien swaps
