except I didn't take off the drain plug (I figured it unnecessary since I just kept flushing through till the fluid came out clean).

Takes at most 30 minutes from start to finish once you acquire the materials (longer if you break something (tranny hose clamps) I bought hose clamps to tighten down on the OEM ones which has so far held for me...
