Replacing spring seat is no fun 850

Hi All:

Well, after posting last time about not bieng able to get the 21mm nut off the top of the strut pitston, I took your advice and borrowed a friends battery operated bosch impact gun. It got the top nut off no problem, but the star nut was all twisted up in the bushing of the old spring seat and I had to put a vice grip on the piston and use a screw driver and hammer to loosen it. Compressing the springs was no fun either. Job took 4 painstaking hours to complete. Car rides really nice again. I'm putting off doing the other side till I recover a bit. In retrospect, I should have had the garage to it.
