Unfortunetly I live about 45-50 min from the clostest Volvo dealer- so I dont have a clue as to how good of a service dept they have.

Anyway - yeah I was going to ask to take the car for an independant checkover from the used car dealer that has it - I planned to take it to the Volvo dealer (as they are about 10-20 min from the used lot) and have them go over the car tooth and nail! I really want them to nitpick so I can find all the problems and get em fixed if i decide to purchase the car. I will have to work it out with the used lot on who would pay for any needed repairs.

ps. I looked today on Autotrader and the listed price had jumped form $8655 to 9700 -
