transmision flush 850 1994

I'm a new owner of 94 850 Turbo with 139 000 mil. Car has no maintenance record
and I do not know if transmision fluid was ever chaged. Volvo dealer do not recommand this service on high miles cars. So far my transmision is shifting OK.
What is your opinion.
