You can also flush the fluid without the kit from IPD.
Go to www.volvospeed.com and the instructions are in a section called "BAY 13"

Before you get started, make sure you buy a new hose clamp described in BAY 13, this way you can simply pry off / break off the old clamp without worrying about the old one becoming deformed.

Finally, make sure you check the fluid level while the engine is running, otherwise the reading may be incorrect.

While you have the hood up, make sure you check the condition of the upper engine stabilizer mount. If it's broken, replace it per the instruction listed in Bay 13.
