Amsoil universal ATF is compatible with 3309 per their website. http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/atf.aspx I contacted their technical support and they support that claim. A local independent volvo shop here in Austin uses it in the 5 speed Japanese tranny and claims no problems have occurred.
