I'm looking for an article/review/thread that would show a series of things to look for when buying a used 850. I'm looking at a '94-850 with 145K miles. It was a Florida car that made its way north.

I've looked at the obvious like body damage, interior wear, rust under seats and spare tire well in case there was flood damage. I've crawled underneath and don't see any clamp marks left by body straightening.

All lights and ventilation seem to work okay. Last label under hood for timing belt indicates it was done at 70K, so I know there's a change due very soon. There are 4 distinct drip points under engine area on the driveway. Smells like oil. Maintenance book has dealer marks up through 90K.

Would appreciate any input as to what else to look for. Currently maintaining a '94-960 with 252K. Great car and am giving to oldest child in college. Looking at the 850 for my 16 yr old to use around town.
