This car may not have seen much in the way of maintenance in the last 50 k miles. You may be looking at 1-2k dollars in initial needed maintenance and repairs and who knows how much later on. Unless you're getting a really good deal I'd keep looking. Check the tranny fluid for signs of burning. With a teenage driver a slow car like this is going to spend alot of time in the "sport" mode which will not be good for a tranny w/ this many miles and questionable maintenance.
