Earl Scheid $49.,99? You are a kid! :-). My first car ( '61 Valiant) was $29.99..but then I upgraded to the metalic paint at $39.99. That's some tough glop they sprayed, I'd hesitate to call it paint though. If that car still exists, I bet thathouse fly is STILL painted onto the rear fender. In fact if that Valiant has been recycled, your new car may have that same fly stuck to it!
